Walid Shoebat - former PLO terrorist turned Christian Zionist

First, here is the biography on Mr. Shoebat which can also be found on his website here.

Walid Shoebat
Born in Bethlehem of Judea, Walid's grandfather was the Muslim Mukhtar (chieftain) of Beit Sahour-Bethlehem (The Shepherd's Fields) and a friend of Haj-Ameen Al-Husseni, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and notorious friend of Adolf Hitler.

Walid's great grandfather, Abdullah Ali Awad-Allah, was also a fighter and close associate of both Abdul Qader and Haj Amin Al-Husseini, who led the Palestinians against Israel. Walid lived through and witnessed Israel’s Six Day War while living in Jericho.

As a young man, he became a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and participated in acts of terror and violence against Israel, and was later imprisoned in the Russian Compound, Jerusalem's central prison for incitement and violence against Israel.

After his release, he continued his life of violence and rioting in Bethlehem and the Temple Mount. After entering the U.S, he worked as a counselor for the Arab Student Organization at Loop College in Chicago and continued his anti-Israel activities.

In 1993, Walid studied the Tanach (Jewish Bible) in a challenge to convert his wife to Islam. Six months later, after intense study, Walid realized that everything he had been taught about Jews was a lie. Convinced he was on the side of evil, he became an advocate for his former enemy.

Driven by a deep passion to heal his own soul, and to bring the truth about the Jews and Israel to the world, Walid shed his former life and his work as a software engineer and set out to tirelessly bring the cause of Israel to tens of thousands of people throughout the world: churches and synagogues, civic groups, government leaders and media.

Walid has written several online books including "Dear Muslim, Let Me Tell You Why I Believed" and "Israel, And The World's Mock Trial”, where he exposes anti-Semitism and the hatred of Jews in both the Islamic Christian and secular worlds.

Walid is an American citizen and lives in the USA with his wife and children, under this assumed name.

The following clip is from an interview he did with CNN:

I wonder what Hizbullah is doing to help promote peace?

By clicking here, you could see how Hezbollah is teaching children to hate Israel and to kill!

Hmmmm, I wonder what Hamas is thinking.... Peace Maybe? Video below should let you know the answer

Anti-Semitism in France is on the rise.....again!

In a report by YnetNews, there have been four reports of anti-Semitic attacks on Jews in a mostly Muslim neighborhood. One such attack was when 15 youths kicked out Jewish teens to leave the playground because it was "Palestinian territory." A few days later, two Jewish teens were attacked in the street. On November 17, a Jewish teen playing soccer was beaten up and was called a "dirty Jew." And, last week a Jewish boy was attacked from other students being called "a stinking Jew."

What I want to know is that while countries such as Germany and Poland make it a crime and crack down on it the best they can, where is the French government in all of this?

Hamas leader calling for Palestinians to kill Israelis and Jews

A few months ago, CNN interviewed the leader of Hamas about a possible truce with Israel, as demonstrated below, that is not the case...

Farfur Martyred "defending" his promise to protect "Palestine." Warning, this video is disturbing

Warning, this video is disturbing. I can only assume when the western countries learned about Farfur, they needed to stop using him as a propaganda tool. How do they do it? By killing him off, literally! And look who delivers Farfur's epilogue...

Farfur tells children why he cheated, because of the Jews

Another disturbing video from the people of Hamas and Farfur, the Mickey Mouse look a like who teaches children why to hate Israel and the Jews:

Arab/Palestinian Children are taught to hate

This video is one of many pieces of evidence that show Arab/Palestinian children are taught to hate Israel and the Jewish people:

Searching YouTube....

Television is a wonderful medium to not just entertain but to educate. However, in the wrong hands, it can be used for evil. Here is an example that, according to the person who posted this video, is a cartoon that was shown on Iranian TV:

If this isn't anti-Semitism, then I don't know what is.

Cool Facts about the Jewish State, Israel!

Many people make false claims about the Jewish State, Israel. Here is a video which I hope brings new light to what Israel has given to the world:

Prince Charles' aides try to stop his visit to Israel

In a report by Ynetnews.com, aides to Princes Charles have stopped his visit to Israel. In a private e-mail sent by Clive Alderton, deputy private secretary, to Sir Michael Peat, Prince Charles' principal private secretary, said regarding the invitation to visit Israel by Israeli Ambassador to Britain Zvi Heifetz, “Acceptance would make it hard to avoid the many ways in which Israel would want HRH (Prince Charles) to help burnish its international image. In which case, let’s agree a way to lower his expectations.”

This only shows us that, at the very least, among those close to his royal highness, have some very anti-Semitic views regarding the Jewish State, Israel.

Jewish Teenager writes about anti-Semitism in his school and his stand against it

I recommend my readers here at the anti-Semitism report to read the following article written by Nathan R. in the teen magazine Teen Ink.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy attacks anti-Semitism and his support for a secure Israel

In a report by the Washington Jewish Week, French President Nicolas Sarkozy attacks anti-Semtism, saying it was deplorable to deny it or even to rationalize it at a minimum. He said "At a minimum, when you start explaining racism, you are rationalizing racism," and he noted it should be attacked "head-on." He also reaffirmed his belief in a secure Israel and that its right to security "should be inviolable and guaranteed," and that "the international community has a responsibility for Israeli security."

It is good to see a French President, even when his country is one of the leaders in Europe of anti-Semitism, waking up and finally showing that it is not dead, but that anti-Semitism is alive and well, for now.

With elections coming up in Venezuela, Jews there being to consider fleeing

According to a report in the Jewish Exponent, Jews living in Venezuela are considering leaving the country. They fear with President's Chavez accepting of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and what they describe by Rabbi Pynchas Brener of La Union Israelita, a large Orthodox synagogue in Caracas, noted an increase within the last year of "anti-Semitic expressions by people who are close to the government," as well as on state-owned radio and TV stations.

With the government there getting more and more like a dictatorship, it is time to get out before it is too late.

Nazi Officer, living in Chicago, is deported

The Associated Press is reporting that 87 year old Osyp Firishchak, a carpenter here, is being deported to Ukraine for doing actions that were "conduct contrary to civilization and human decency," the judge handling his case said. His deportation was a long time coming as the Justice Department's Office of Special Investigations, which researches accusations that people were once Nazis, filed against him in 2003 and was stripped of his U.S. Citizenship in 2005.

Once again, if there are any Nazi's out there who, by chance, are reading this blog, remember you can run, but you cannot hide from the long outstretched arm of Justice!

Pro-Israel groups come under attack

In a report by City on a Hill Press, various scholars (such as Norman Finkelstein, who earlier this year was denied tenure, and Noam Chomsky, professor of linguistics at MIT) have come out and say that their academic freedom has been revoked based on the fact that these groups try and silence them and make claims of anti-Semitism about them. Finkelstein cites that these groups throw ar0und the term anti-Semitism and blur it with anti-Zionism that the word has lost its potency.

I'm sorry Mr. Finkelstein, Mr. Chomsky, and Mr. Massad, but I strongly disagree with your notion that these pro-Israel groups are trying to silence the scholarly community. Maybe I don't understand how the only democracy in the Middle East that guarantees equal rights for Arabs, Palestinians, Homosexuals, and minorities and has defended itself properly all times in wars of defense against its Arab neighbors (I'm not saying Israel is perfect, but I am saying every time they fight, it is a War of Defense), not to mention leading a lot of the Middle East in terms of Technological and Medical advances deserves your attacks. I do not have a problem criticizing Israel as a country, but when you attack it making claims like, in a piece titled "The Ends of Zionism: Racism and the Palestinian Struggle," by Mr. Massad, I can only assume you bang the outright lie of Zionism is Racism. And you, Mr. Chomsky, claim that Israel's actions are like that of Nazi Germany, why would I even want to listen to your claim? And to you, Mr. Finkelstein, you have a problem with those who are pro-Israel referring to you as the son of a Holocaust survivor yet you have no problem attacking those like Alan Dershowitz and those who support Israel and claim their work is fraudulent and a hoax so many times, it begins to come into question what exactly are you doing? Do you not understand that groups like Hezbollah, Fatah, and Hamas support the killing of Jews?

What do you readers think? Do you think groups are silencing the anti-Israel scholars or is the work of the David Project, Campus Watch, etc just acting as a way of informing students and faculty what is going on with certain professors and their writings?

Ukaraine to work on countering anti-Semitism

According to the ADL, The Ukrainian President has assured a delegation of ADL members that they are committed to finding and stopping anti-Semitism as well as all other types of xenophobia within Ukraine.
In a statement released by the ADL, they say:

We received strong assurances from President Yushchenko that he and his administration are firmly committed to finding effective means to prevent acts and expressions of anti-Semitism and xenophobia in Ukraine and to vigorously investigate and prosecute perpetrators of such hate crimes. We welcome the establishment of a new inter-ministerial committee under the direction of the national Security Service that is charged with the responsibility for centralizing and focusing the resources of the Ukraine government on fighting these hate crimes.

In our meeting with representatives of the national Security Service we heard in detail the plans underway to address the problems of hate crimes in Ukraine, particularly those motivated by anti-Semitism, and we were pleased that our offer to cooperate with the Security Service was accepted. ADL will be providing training to members of the Ukraine law enforcement community.

In partnership with the Jewish Community of Ukraine, ADL will help adapt its A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute® peer-training program for high school students.

We are pleased with the willingness of the Ukraine government and Jewish community to work with ADL to find ways to combat hatred, bigotry, xenophobia and anti-Semitism in Ukraine.

Soccer Players in Australia Face Justice over Anti-Semitic Attack

According to the JTA, soccer players James Dalton and Matthew Cuthbert both pleaded guilty to an anti-Semitic attack on an Orthodox Jew.

Thankfully, Australia is prosecuting those who commit these horrible acts. Lets hope Europe can finally speed things up and properly do what is necessary to stop and end anti-Semitism!

Singing Hatred in the Streets of Gaza

The Washington Post reports that a group of five men who are the "police force" for Hamas in Gaza, since the takeover by Hamas during this past summer, have started a singing group that sings anti-Israel songs. "O Jerusalem, rest assured we are the sacrifice," says one song. "I will not retreat from my Jihad, I will not back down."
Now why do they feel they need to sing about this topic? Hussam Abu Abdu, a member of this band says "We aim to entertain, to help ease the people's suffering and at the same time we deliver a message about morals and values."

You know nothing says give peace a chance like singing songs that call for destruction of the only Jewish country in the Middle East.
Hamas has done things like this before. Earlier in the year, the media showed us Farfur, a Mickey Mouse look alike who sang on a TV show intended to be viewed by children to encourage Jihad against Israel, among other things. This kind of culture where children are taught to hate is the worst kind of child abuse. What can you do? Call Congress and/or send a message to the UN (via telephone or e-mail or mail) that we demand something be done about what children are being taught on Palestinian Public Television! If we think the upcoming peace conference in Annapolis is going to be a success, maybe for now, but Hamas and even Fatah are getting the next generation of Palestinians to hate Jews and Israelis and to create what we see today in the world of tomorrow, otherwise, if an agreement is reached in Annapolis, the peace described will just be a word on a page and not something that is practiced by Palestinians.

Anti-Semitism remarks in Belarus by President Alyaksandr Lukashenka

According to a report by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Belarusian President Alyaksandr Lukashenka reported to have said the following anti-Semitic remarks when talking about the past living conditions of a town in South Belarus, Babruysk, "It was scary to enter, it was a pigsty. That was mainly a Jewish town -- and you know how Jews treat the place where they are living."
Many Jewish Organizations as well as members of the International Community were quick to condemn these remarks. According to a representative of Belarus, the President's speech
"alluded to the myth that I thought had died, at least among the progressive part of humanity," Ben-Ari said. "This myth sees the Jews as untidy and dirty people who smell bad -- and is undoubtedly anti-Semitic."
There have even been writers who came quick to defend of this man, talking about how he understands the Jewish people and that how Belarus has virtually no anti-Semitism and how they saved Jews during WWII (for which even saying "Thank you" is not enough to properly thank the country of Belarus). However, when a leader in any European country says such horrible things, in almost no context is such a comment allowed to be said.

Swastika Attack at War Memorial in Aberystwyth

According to a report by BBC News, swastikas were painted on a WWII memorial in the town of Aberystwyth (UK). According to Gareth Lewis, member of the Royal British Legion, "The fact that they saw fit to paint swastikas is bad enough, but to do it so close to a memorial which remembers those who died fighting a fascist regime is absolutely disgusting."

For those readers out there who do not know about what is going on in Europe, anti-Semitism is on the rise again in Europe and in alarming numbers! More to come about that story.

Welcome to the beginning of the end of Anti-Semitism

After years of watching the news, I noticed there is one news story that hasn't gone away, in fact its been around since the beginning of time, that is anti-Semitism. In this blog, we will attempt to define and report about what is being described today as "new anti-Semitism." We will show the difference between criticizing Israel and anti-Semitism disguised as anti-Israel. Right now I'm signing off but if you want to report for this blog, please contact me ASAP!
Let the revolution against anti-Semitism begin!
