A core issue in the 2008 Election for President of the United States is how best to move forward with working towards a lasting and meaningful peace in Israel between the Palestinian people and the Jewish people. During the Vice Presidential Debate that took place last night, Israel came up during the debate and here is how the two Vice Presidential candidates see this issue.
